Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Lead the design, planning and supervision of medium- and high-voltage distribution projects across the network. You will own technical delivery from feasibility through commissioning, working closely with regional teams to keep Ethiopia powered reliably.

Responsibilities

• Design and review MV/HV distribution networks and substations
• Supervise contractors during construction and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with EEU technical standards and safety codes
• Mentor junior engineers and review their technical work

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years in power distribution or transmission
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian grid standards
• Professional Engineer certification is an advantage
